A food web demonstrates all possible chances fo where its energy can go. Its energy can go to more than one organism. All of the energy ends up to one animal.

An energy pyramid shows the transfer of energy from one living thing to another. On top is the tertiary consumer, who has no predators trying to eat him. Below him is the secondary consumer. He is a predator to one animal, but is still prey to another. The primary consumer has no prey. It only eats the producer. The producer is a plant that gets energy from the sun. Energy is passed from each level. that energy decreases based on how much each level stores in their body.

in my food chain, the energy passes from the pine seed cone to the squirrel. A squirrel would eat a pine seed cone because in the taiga, the main type of tree is the conifer trees. Then, the fox eats the squirrel because the fox eats on small animals and plant ( this makes him an omnivore). The wolf then eats the fox because the wolf is a carnivore ( an animal that just eats meat). Then the bear eats the wolf since the bear is a carnivore. The energy is passed from the pine seed cone to the squirrel, then the fox, then the wolf, then the bear.
